I think that what you published was actually very logical.

I ain't suggesting your content is not good., but what if you added a headline that grabbed folk's attention?
I mean "FOOTAGE!! JAGGED EDGE PERFORMING LIVE AT THE PARK!!" is a little plain.
You should look at Yahoo's front page and see how they create post headlines to get viewers to open the links. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to grab readers excited about what you've written.
Just my opinion, it could bring your website a little livelier.
